What is the Banana Channel?
The Banana Channel is the brainchild of a drunken, sunburnt afternoon in Dylan and Lincoln’s pool. All of us have been laid off from every entertainment job we’ve ever had, and it increasingly seems like Hollywood doesn’t want anything to do with us. The age of streaming gives little people like us less opportunity to make weird crap than ever before.
We miss the old days when shows were about one dumb thing every week and they gave you more than you could ever want. That’s what America is all about; overdosing on something that hovers around “pretty good” in quality for a decade and then crying at the finale of Frasier.
We’re creating webseries like My Lil Dad, Day Shift Hookers, Tarot Read: Medium at Large, and more to come. We’re creating podcasts, sketches, live shows, and whatever else we feel like. It’s gonna be bananas.
Our mission statement: bring back TV.
